Meditation for Physical Pain

Chronic pain prevalence is estimated at around 15 percent of American adults. It can cause both physical and emotional difficulties. Meditation cannot take away pain, but it can help to change your relationship to pain.

 

Research indicates that meditation may help to decrease the overall suffering caused by pain. Using different brain pathways to death with pain, some studies even show that, over time, meditation can change your brain structure to better deal with pain.

In this course, you receive an introduction to meditation techniques related to pain. This course can be customizable for you, your group, or organization. It can be delivered as a multi-week course or even as a single session.
