Meditation and Grief Sessions and Courses

When we experience a profound loss, such as the death of a loved one, our emotions can be unpredictable. We may feel sadness, but we may also feel loneliness, anger, numbness, or guilt. At times, we may even feel a confusing sense of relief or euphoria. It can be an overwhelming rollercoaster.

Meditation can’t get rid of your grief. It can, however, change your perspective and experience of grieving. It can provide a space of calm, where you watch your thoughts and feelings unfold, rather than be held hostage by them. Meditation can help you to let go of tension and some of the stories that may be exacerbating your suffering.

Meditation can also help you to feel more connected. To your own body. To the people around you. To nature and the world as a whole. Even to the person or thing we are grieving.

I offer multi-week meditation and grief courses to groups and individuals, as well as single sessions. This work is for people coming to meditation for the first time as well as those who wish to deepen an existing practice.
