Introduction to Meditation and Mindfulness

Now, more than ever, we're all being confronted by circumstances beyond our control. How you experience those circumstances, however, is determined by what's going on in your mind. Meditation offers a path to improve your own inner resources for calm, confidence, meaning, and joy. It can help you to tap into those states of being - even when the world isn't cooperating. 

 

In this beginners Meditation and Mindfulness Course, you will learn:

  • Exactly what meditation is and how it can reduce anxiety and improve energy, resilience, and capacity for intimate connections  

  • A variety of meditation techniques, including breathing meditation, body scan meditation, mantra meditation, loving-kindness meditation, and more

  • Skills to apply mindfulness to relationships and situations of conflict, stress, or intense emotions

  • How to build up a consistent meditation ritual and address the common challenges people encounter when they begin a meditation practice

  • You will also build up a meditation community of your peers so that you can support and learn from one another as you develop your practice 

This course is customizable for you, your group, or organization. It comes standard as a 5-week course but can be delivered as a 4 or 6-week course, longer, or even as a single session.
